So sorry. That sucks! I don't know you but came across the pics of your "Learn to Knit" afghan and I'm SO totally impressed. I owned that book years ago and never did make the afghan (I did a few squares here and there). You are my new hero. I started knitting when I was 23 and did it off and on until I was about 30 and then completely quit. Who would have thought that I would become interested again in my 50's but here I am again loving it. Btw my daughter, son-in-law and grandson all live in St Louis too. Anyway I hope you find your luggage SOON!
