Jordan

It's officially official.

When I applied for my current job, they mentioned that some travel might be possible. This Friday, I fly to Amman, Jordan, for a week, to go and build some servers for a new customer. It's pretty exciting, but I've not been away from my wife for more than 2 nights in a row since we got married. There had been talk of it being 2 weeks at first, but we figured that we could get everything done in a week.

Jordan is one of the safer middle-east countries, so I'm not particularly worried about that. If you're the kind that prays, your prayers would be welcome, both for my safety, and for my wife's sanity.

Wow, that sounds like it could be an interesting time. Hope it all goes well with the servers and you get to enjoy yourself a bit back over on the other side of the pond (and a bit further).
