It's been a strange day...

Today has been an odd day. Not being able to sleep, I got up early. I turned on the TV as I ate my breakfast to be greeted with the news about the London Bombings. But it's not entirely doom and gloom, as this person and this other person point out.

Thanks to all those who have enquired about family and friends. None of my family live in London, so they are OK, and my London friends have pretty much all reported in OK. As far as I know, I don't know anyone who was directly involved in any of the blasts. My heart goes out to those who didn't have that kind of good news though.
