Amaryllis in bloom

Karyn's Amaryllis, a birthday gift from Kathryn, is in bloom. It's brightening up out apartment delightfully. The one we received last year, as a home-warming gift, is still in hibernation as it has not sprouted enough to be brought out, which means it will bloom later, providing us with an overall elongated bloomage, rather than intense all-at-once bloomage.
